Hi! I’m Marguerite

I am passionate about bridging the gender and racial wealth gap by helping small businesses to maximize their profitability. I help small business owners and entrepreneurs, just like you, reach all-time profit highs, pay yourself consistently, and feel more confident than ever on how you’re operating your business, knowing that each decision you’re making is leading you to the financial outcome that you desire.

I am an angel investor, business advisor for Goldman Sachs’ One Million Black Women national program, the creator of Your Profit Playbook™- the leading business financial planning training program for small business owners, and the Founder & CEO of Finance Savvy CEO®. Via programming and members-only access, the EdTech FinTech platform Finance Savvy CEO®, aids to close the gender & racial wealth gap through helping entrepreneurs increase their business financial literacy and the overall financial health of their business. I have helped small business owners to raise $33M+ in capital and increase their annual profits on average by 63% and am on a mission to help entrepreneurs create a pathway to generational wealth through profitable entrepreneurship and organic financial sustainability.

With my extensive business & financial strategy experience, I make building and running a profitable business simple and achievable.

I have nearly two decades of international business experience which includes Wall Street at Goldman Sachs, controlling over a $2 billion portfolio of private equity, alternative energy, and commercial real estate investments; Deloitte Consulting, as a manager in the Mergers & Acquisitions Strategy & Operations consulting practice working across North America, Ireland, Mexico, and Amsterdam, advising fortune 500 companies through restructuring, strategic planning, revenue growth strategies, cost reduction strategies, operational improvements, mission and vision modifications, business process redesigns, global brand expansion strategies, deal structuring, due-diligence, valuations, and integration strategies; the Clinton Foundation Economic Opportunity Initiative focusing on helping to stimulate the economy in underserved areas by fueling the growth of the community-based small businesses; Managing Director at a $25M Venture Capital Firm developing the studio arm of the fund, including developing and implementing capital readiness programming for underrepresented groups to master how to effectively raise capital ; Berkeley University, as an advisor to the Hass School of Business; and building and growing my own retail technology start-up from serving 1 city with 1 product offering to expanding to a global brand serving thousands of customers across 5 continents with 11 different product offerings in just two short years that went on to win the Diamond Award for “Best Wedding Technology.”

I am an accountant and financier, holding dual degrees, a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Business Finance from North Carolina State University – Go Pack! And an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business with concentrations in strategy & finance – Go Sternies!
